To the new members of JoyDew, Hi I’m Mark. I have been here for maybe 6 years. I am happy to be here because this is my other family. I think it is happier than my group home because the staff are so smart and nice to me. I am taken care of here. The staff make sure I have the time to communicate. Even if it takes a long time.

JoyDew is good for the community. All different types of autistic people can do well here and learn and have fun here. I would recommend people join so they can learn and be friends with us here.

My name is Mark. I have autism and I communicate by typing.

I am very excited because I will be the employee of the month and will get a trophy. hard working guy and I am on my way to a wonderful future in JoyDew.

About JoyDew

JoyDew transforms the brutal reality of people with autism from being treated as a commodity, living in isolation and without hope, into flourishing human beings with lifelong friends, who can express themselves and apply their unique talents and skills to succeed in the workplace. Our day program identifies their unique strengths and interests, develops them with job training and academic enrichment, provides communication and other supports, and creates high-level employment for people with autism, without exception, where they can learn and grow in a community of their own, and unleash their hopes and dreams.
