Engelbert Tjeenk Willink,
Board Member
Engelbert Tjeenk Willink has more than 25 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as Interim CEO at STADA, which he took from the stock market and sold to a consortium of Private Equity funds. Before that, he was at Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH as a member of the Board of Managing Directors. In this role, Mr. Tjeenk Willink managed the Corporate Board Division Marketing and Sales (M&S) in human pharmaceuticals and had global responsibility for the prescription medicines (PM) and consumer health care businesses. Prior to this, Mr. Tjeenk Willink held multiple regional managerial roles including Country Manager Mexico, Head Corporate Division Marketing PM, and Head M&S PM Canada.
Mr. Tjeenk Willink has extensive strategic and operational experience across marketing and sales, health economics and outcomes, research, medical, and business development functions. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim in 1994 as Medical Director, Mr. Tjeenk Willink was Vice President Operations at Pharma Bio-Research BV and started his career with Gist-Brocades NV.
Mr. Tjeenk Willink is a medical doctor from the Erasmus University Rotterdam School of Medicine and is a fellow of the Royal College of Pharmaceutical Industry Physicians. He is fluent in English, Dutch, and German.
Simon Mason, Board Member
Mr. Mason brings over 26 years of experience in building and growing companies that provide consulting, technology, and services to the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech industries. He has strong knowledge in the commercialization of healthcare products with an emphasis on the increasing role of medical decision making in the process.
Mr. Mason is currently Chief Commercial Officer at PharmaSpectra, a scientific information company. Prior to joining PharmaSpectra, Mr. Mason was Chief Operating Officer and board member at Skila, a knowledge management solutions company focused on the Life Sciences industry, and in various leadership positions at Physician's Online and Merck and Co. Mr. Mason also sits on several boards for other non-profit organizations as well as commercial ventures. He holds a BA in English - Communications and BS in Math – Computer Science from LaSalle University.
Guy Payette, Board Member
Mr. Payette is the founder and president of Innomar Strategies, a division of Cencora. His vision for innovating how pharmaceutical products are commercialized in the unique Canadian healthcare marketplace, along with his strong leadership has resulted in Innomar becoming Canada’s leading patient support provider for specialty pharmaceuticals, delivering end-to-end support solutions to improve product access, increase supply chain efficiency and enhance patient care. The company provides strategic consulting, patient assistance programs, nursing and clinical services, and specialty pharmacy and logistics. By partnering closely with manufacturers, healthcare providers, pharmacies and payers, Innomar ensures patients have consistent and reliable access to specialty medication.
Prior to founding Innomar in 2001, Guy was a director for 12 years at pharmaceutical manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim. He currently volunteers as a board member for The Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution Management and the Burlington Economic Development Corporation.
Jeremy S. Melker, MD
Dr. Melker is a board-certified ENT physician/surgeon with 17 years of experience and expertise in all aspects of the ENT market. As an accomplished executive, he founded a solo practice that combined cutting-edge care with compassionate, multigenerational hometown medicine and grew it to the point of solicitation and merger with one of the nation's largest independent multi-specialty surgical groups. Since residency, he has worked with research and development teams of medical device companies, including Medtronic and those acquired by Smith & Nephew and Philips Healthcare, and has three issued U.S. patents.
Dr. Melker is the proud father of an adult son with autism who is a JoyDew member. He is an active advocate for those on the spectrum and serves on the Board of Directors of Florida Special Needs Services for Exceptional Dentistry (FLOSSED), is a Founding Steering Committee Member of the University of Florida Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (UF Health CAN), and is a Founding Advisory Board Member of the Santa Fe College Spectrum of Success Program (SOS).
Allan Reiss
Allan Reiss is a lawyer who specializes in finance and investments in the energy sector. He is experienced in advising corporate boards of directors and management on governance and transactions. Allan has been a partner in several national law firms, and currently works as a full-time consultant for Citadel Americas LLC, an asset management firm.
Allan is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Law School, and holds a masters degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
