A day program for adults with autism that presumes competence, focuses on strengths and provides job training, social life and employment.

For Families and Caregivers

If you are like most parents and caretakers of young adults on the spectrum, you have had a brutal struggle after they left the school system (the “21 Cliff”) to help them get appropriate services, good employment, and provide them with enriching experiences and social activities. Most of all, you are constantly worried about what will happen to them when you are no longer able to take care of them.

JoyDew provides a solution for this rapidly growing population with a unique approach that dramatically improves the quality of life of people on the spectrum and their families. JoyDew presumes competence and focuses on the strengths or special capabilities of the individual and develops them through communication assistance, academic enrichment and job training programs, with the goal of providing our members with gainful high-level employment within our safe, warm, autism-friendly environment.

JoyDew understands that despite employment, many adults with autism will require support throughout their lifetime, and operates on the principle ‘Once a member, always a member’. In addition to providing a path to employment, we aim to provide a lifelong, comprehensive life solution that also encompasses housing, a social life and parent/custodian support. We are currently licensed for day habilitation, job training, prevocational training, and supported employment, and expect to be licensed for housing at the end of 2025.

If you believe in your young adult on the spectrum and want to secure their immediate and long-term future, we look forward to talking with you! Please fill out our questionnaire to determine if JoyDew will be a good fit.
