JoyDew: Our Roots in Career Training

JoyDew was founded in 2011 by Moish Tov, who, as a father of two autistic children, has a deep-seated understanding of our society's misconceptions surrounding the abilities of people with autism. Since the beginning, the company's singular focus has been to equip adults with autism with the tools they need to thrive in a professional role.

In 2012, we helped run an initiative with the army in which students were trained and hired to analyze aerial and satellite pictures. The program was a massive success and continues today, with over 40 autistic soldiers in service.

Then, in 2017, we spearheaded another similar pilot in the field of medical imaging, in partnership with the Bergen County Hospital Radiology Department. Students learn to track changes in mammography charts.

Our work has only begun! We're passionate about creating more opportunities for adults with autism in our local community, our country, and across the globe.
