Job Placement for Adults with Autism in Passaic County
Here at JoyDew Foundation, we are strong believers that adults with autism have so much to offer society. Our goal is to help find work for autistic adults that takes advantage of their unique skillset and provides them with valuable independence. If you would like to learn more about our mission, we invite you to reach out to us at (201) 444-6409.
Finding the Best Jobs for Autistic Adults
Autism can affect people in many different ways, but our goal is to break the stigma around autism in the workforce. We begin our job placement process with a detailed strength assessment for our members, which serves to highlight their individual talents and provide them with an idea of what they would enjoy doing. After we uncover the natural abilities of our members, we will proceed to provide them with the proper training they need to excel in their field.
Training for Autism Careers
An unfortunate reality is that after going through the education system, many autistic adults are left without the support or guidance they need to continue living purposeful lives. Our goal at JoyDew Foundation is to help fill this void by providing a wide range of talent development and job training courses to provide our members with the abilities and social skills they need to be contributing members of society.
Some of the focuses of our training include:
- Medical imaging
- Pattern recognition
- Digital content
- Big data engineering
- And more
We believe that there are jobs for autistic people, no matter where they are on the spectrum, which is why we have worked hard to provide a comprehensive and informed approach to autism employment.
Increasing Communication Skills
Effective communication can be a challenge for many of those living with autism, but with social engagement and immersion, many are able to overcome their struggles. At JoyDew Foundation, we have helped many of our members improve their ability to communicate to a point where they have no problem conversing with others.
Changing Perspectives on Autism Careers
We have had the honor of helping many adults with autism find gainful employment that sparks joy in their lives. Not only that, but we have had many employers complement the value that our members have brought to their organization. Autistic people can be just as talented, charming, funny, and productive as anyone else, and we have taken it upon ourselves to help more people recognize this.
Taking the Next Step for Autism Employment
