Day Program Focused on Employment for Adults with Autism Opens in Livingston

Livingston, NJ – Today adults with autism in Essex County have an exciting new option in their journey toward meaningful employment after Mayor Al Anthony cut the ribbon on the new JoyDew facility in Livingston yesterday afternoon.

Special guests such as Beth Lippman from the Chamber of Commerce, Gary DeYoung from the West Essex Tribune, and Director of Essex County Special Transportation, Michael Vieira welcomed the innovative day program to the community with hopes that it will have the same positive results as the company’s other location in Ridgewood. 

JoyDew staff, including founders Moish and Anat Tov, led a tour of the beautiful, autism-friendly space and discussed their curriculum of activities that focuses on strengths, job training, employment and developing a community of friends, with future plans to provide a whole-life solution, including housing.  The event highlighted a shared commitment to growth, inclusivity, and working together to make a positive impact.
