Livingston, NJ – Today JoyDew announced that next Monday, May 20th, it will open the doors on its initial Livingston location at 5 N. Regent Street Suite 501 Livingston, NJ 07039, with plans to move into the larger, permanent location in the same building in July.
The location has been approved by Medicaid and the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Permits for the larger location have been received and a complete renovation by Eastman Management’s Regent Park Associates is nearly finished. The location will serve up to 40 adults with autism with 10 staff and is still accepting applications for the program and staff positions.
Like its Ridgewood location, the Livingston location will focus on job training, academic enrichment, and social community, with an adjacent space for employment.

There are also 3 staff positions open in the Bergen & Essex County locations to develop curriculum, conduct classes, provide communication assistance, and support members as they train and work in 21st century jobs. Applicants should presume competence and be open to learning new approaches to serving people on the spectrum.
